British Heart Foundation Valentine Appeal
As part of our massive Valentines weekend here at the Drayman featuring HOXTON WHORES LIVE P.A. & DJ SET on Friday 15th and a LIVE set by original Old Skool Legends RATPACK on Saturday 16th, we have linked up with the British Heart Foundation to take part in their Valentine Appeal.
It is still FREE to get into both events but we would urge people to dig deep and help out as the BHF set about trying to raise £1million for essential care workers. 2.6 million people in the UK are affected by coronary heart disease so have a heart and lets try and raise a few quid for them during these two great events.

Mobile Tube / W2Mobile Scam
Last week I received a mobile phone message with a video attached. I assumed it was from one of my mates and pressed download. It was a bit slow so I cancelled it halfway through. Afterwards, I received a text message thanking me for signing up to Mobile Tube, and that I'd be charged £1.50 for future videos.
Very annoying! I didnt' request the service, and certainly resent having to pay for something that I didn't want.
I called up Vodafone, but the useless chick on the phone refused to block any future premium SMS messages from my phone, and insisted that I had to send "STOP" to the thieves. I've done that, but am not confident that the block will work. These companies are nothing but thieves trying to catch people out. GRRR... I'm very angry!
Anyway, as a form of vengeance, I asked my geeky brother to add a bandwidth draining component to my blog. The Mobile Tube frame on the right of my blog downloads their homepage every 0.5 seconds. According to a webfusion advert on Google, 1GB of web hosting costs £2.98. This is hurting my head as I'm no good at maths, but my brother recons it'll take about 7,000 downloads, to consume 1GB of bandwidth. Or 2 hours of leaving that frame on.
I know that there's no chance of me claiming back my £1.50 back (actually, I'm sure they'll probably take more), so I'm going to make them pay for it in bandwidth.
